Network! Her internship with Children’s Future International had her helping organize their main fundraising event, Wok to the Future. In this internship, she was required to reach out to organizations all across Denver and collaborate with the leaders of non-profit, thus putting her in contact with many successful people in many leadership positions.
Find your passion early, and then go and get experience working in the area of your passion (which also leads to networking).
